Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or human service field required.
• Must pass drug screen, MVR, KBI, Child Abuse & Neglect Central Registry Clearance and FBI fingerprint check.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial and ongoing assessments by gathering information from children, families, and collaterals.
• Develops and implements case plans and permanency goals with children and families.
• Determines and recommends services needed for the child and family, including mental health, drug and alcohol services, respite care and supervised or unsupervised visitations.
• Supports kinship and foster families to maintain placements and help children work toward permanency.
• Completes reports for court, participates in court proceedings, and testifies as needed.
• Maintains case records and documentation within established time frames.
• On-call rotation to address urgent issues after hours, with rapid response and issue resolution.
• Travel statewide to various locations for on-site services.
