Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a spiritual care provider to join our Pastoral Care team. The role focuses on delivering spiritual care and counseling to patients, families, visitors, and staff, and to provide worship services when needed.

On-call night shifts are required: Thursdays 8pm–Fridays 7am, with additional hours possible. Hospital experience and denominational endorsement are valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Religion, Counseling, or related field required.
• 2 years of pastoral experience for on call required.
• 4 years of Clinical Pastoral Education required.
• Ecclesiastical endorsement from the appropriate denomination required.
• Ordination preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.

• Provides appropriate assistance to patients, family members.
• Conducts worship services.
