Our No Animals Were Harmed program offers multiple on-call opportunities, requiring individuals with a DVM, RVT/LVT/CVT, or B.S. in Animal Science or related field. The role involves ensuring humane treatment of animals on film and media sets, documenting animal care, advising on safety issues, and working with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring animal action in filmed media
• Writing detailed reports on animal treatment and safety
• Communicating effectively with film personnel and authorities
• Traveling locally and internationally as needed
• Researching animal species and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Veterinary degree or related certification, or B.S. in Animal Science
• Experience with diverse animal species
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Successful completion of AH’s CASR training required

Physical and work environment:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions
