Job summary

Terrestris Global Solutions is seeking reliable and safety-focused CDL Drivers to support government contracting operations on a temporary, on-call basis. You will operate a variety of vehicles, secure cargo per DOT standards, and maintain logs and inspections as part of mission-critical logistics support.

The role emphasizes safety, flexibility, and readiness to adapt to contract requirements, including extended hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL required with Class A or B as needed.
• Safe driving history with focus on safety.
• Experience with heavy equipment transport.
• Ability to secure cargo per DOT standards.
• DOT regulations knowledge.
• Ability to lift and secure heavy loads.
• Eligible for U.S. military base access.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-class vehicles including heavy equipment transporters, refrigerated trucks, passenger vehicles, buses, and fuel tankers.
• Secure various types of cargo in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness.
• Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety standards.
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to meet delivery schedules.
