Visiting Angels in Eugene, OR is seeking an experienced, dependable on-call caregiver to join our team. The role covers clients across Eugene, Springfield, and nearby areas within a 50-mile radius, with a guaranteed 40 hours of pay per week when requirements are met.

You will provide a range of care services, from daily living assistance to dementia, hospice, and transportation, in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Prior professional caregiving experience is required.
• Experienced and confident providing multiple levels of care.
• Dependable, professional, and flexible.
• Calm and capable in high-stress or unexpected situations.
• Excellent communicator.
• Able to adapt quickly when entering unfamiliar Client homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide support services and companionship.
• Deliver dementia care at varying levels.
• Assist with hospice and end-of-life care as needed.
• Administer medications per training and policy.
• Assist with client transfers and transportation when required.
• Relief and support for other Caregivers; observe client needs and report changes.
• Complete required client documentation accurately and timely.
