Cascade AIDS Project’s Our House facility in Portland seeks an On-Call Caregiver to deliver direct resident care and environmental support on an as-needed basis, working with the Licensed Nurse to assist with ADLs and mobility for residents living with HIV.

The Our House Residential Care Facility (RCF) is a 14-room facility with a team of expert clinicians who work with people living with HIV who are having difficulty managing independent living. By tailoring nursing, social services, and therapeutic everyday activities our clients and residents are able to define what ‘living well’ means to them. Our House and CAP are excited to announce that we are hiring an On-Call Caregiver.The Caregiver is responsible for direct resident care as well as environmental care of the facility on an as-needed basis. They collaborate with the Licensed Nurse as a team to ensure that all the resident activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, feeding, and mobility, are met. Communicating with outside providers and a multidisciplinary team to ensure care coordination over various shifts.
On-call staff fills in open shifts as needed and available. This position is responsible for working within the framework of the interdisciplinary team approach to provide direct resident care as well as dietary care and environmental care of the facility as needed by performing the following duties. This is a non-management, non-union-represented position.
The starting pay for this position is$23.17.
