Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server to join our team. This on-call Breakfast Attendant role covers early morning shifts at our Hartford-area hotel location, with weekend and holiday requirements.

You will prepare breakfast stations, greet guests, stock and maintain displays, and ensure food safety and cleanliness throughout service. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior food & beverage experience or training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food & beverage experience preferred or equivalent training.
• Minimum of 1 year in hotel/restaurant serving role (education section).

Responsibilities

• Work as ON-CALL Breakfast Attendant for early morning shifts to cover vacations, call outs, extra coverage during HIGH-Demand dates.
• Shifts are 5am-12pm on Weekdays and 6am-1pm on Weekends.
• Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from kitchen to serving counters.
• Set up attractive food displays and maintain cleanliness to ensure food safety.
• Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
• Clean up spilled food, drink or broken dishes and remove trash.
• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, or trays.
• Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
• Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers.
• Locate and provide items requested by guests.
• Wash all dirty dishes in dishwasher.
• Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in pantry or breakfast area and mop or vacuum floors.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
