Job summary

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is hiring on-call/temporary Banquet Servers at Three Leaf Catering and The Morris Inn in the campus Hospitality department. This role supports event setup, service, and guest needs during campus functions.

Candidates should be available for football Saturdays and major campus events, with a focus on timely service, safety, and courteous guest interactions in a university setting.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work football Saturdays and all major campus events.
• Capable of time management with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare table service for functions as directed by Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server.
• Follow written specifications from events department.
• Assist with equipment removal after meal service.
• Professionally serve banquet functions: food service, beverages, guest requests.
• Follow guidelines for safe handling of food.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and in good condition.
