Job summary

Safety Harbor Resort and Spa is seeking on-call Banquet Servers (2-5 hour shifts) with at least 1 year of hotel banquet experience. AM & PM shifts, flexible weekends and holidays required. You will set up, serve, and tear down functions, ensuring guest satisfaction with courteous, timely service.

Candidates must communicate in English, maintain a clean workstation, and handle menus confidently while working as part of a team in a luxury Tampa Bay area setting.

Qualifications

• Must communicate with a supervisor, and understand instructions in English.
• Courteous and socially appropriate at all times.
• Able to reach, stoop, bend, kneel and ascend stairs.
• Lift at least 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Read and understand menus and promote menu items.

Responsibilities

• Set up, serve, and teardown for catered functions and events.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times and know service techniques.
• Be familiar with current conferences and resort facilities.
• Work as a team and assist others with enthusiasm.
• Adapt to duties as requested by management.
