Responsibilities
  • Wear approved uniform at all times, including nametag.
  • Follow posted schedule and hotel policies.
  • Understand and read Banquet-Event-Orders (BEOs).
  • Set up linens, china, glass, silver for each function according to BEO.
  • Set up, maintain, inventory, and break down beverage breaks and food displays.
  • Know menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes.
  • Transport food and beverages to guest tables promptly to ensure quality.
  • Replenish guest beverages and check on guest satisfaction.
  • Circulate in the room, respond politely to guest requests, and anticipate needs.
  • Remove dishes promptly after guests finish meals.
  • Follow all liquor laws, especially regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Assist with inventory, food storage, and closeout tasks after events.
  • Handle guest complaints and requests, reporting issues to supervisors.
  • Meet quality standards for brand expectations.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by hotel management.
Minimum Requirements
  • Previous waitstaff experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of catering practices preferred.
  • Ability to work quickly and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clean background check and reliable transportation.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for at least 8 hours.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality willing to engage with guests.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.
