Job summary

The Doubletree by Hilton Austin, managed by HEI Hospitality, is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to support events at our Austin, TX property. The role focuses on delivering attentive service and coordinating with the banquets team to ensure guest satisfaction.

Assist with setup, service, and breakdown, greet guests, replenish beverages, and comply with all safety and alcohol-service guidelines. This on-call position offers flexible hours and opportunities to join a values-driven hospitality

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Willingness to pitch in and help teammates.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, and etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and serviceware.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

No**Overview**Assist Banquet Manager in the serving of guests during banquet functions to ensure positive guest experience.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Set up banquet room as instructed by Supervisor to include linen, serviceware and glassware.* Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.* Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.* Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet.
