Job summary

Stonebridge Companies in Addison, Texas seeks a friendly Banquet Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service at banquet events, maintaining professional appearance and efficiency.

You will greet guests, present menus, assist with wine selections, relay orders, clear and reset tables, and help with setup and teardown of function rooms while adhering to safety guidelines. This on-call, non-exempt role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet or restaurant service preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating costs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and guest service.

• Suggest wine selections where appropriate.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services promptly.

• Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
• Assist with setting up, cleaning, and refreshing banquet function rooms.
• Attend department meetings and complete tasks assigned by the Banquet Manager.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including reading and understanding MSDS.

Job Summary

Work Environment

Primarily an indoor environment with protection from weather conditions, though not necessarily from temperature changes. Requires standing and walking for extended periods during events. Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 20 lbs. Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
