Michigan State University’s Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics seeks an on-call Assistant Professor to join the BIBB Epigenetic Aging study. The project, led by researchers, investigates how social stressors influence epigenetic aging and PTB risk among Black women, using data from 550 participants in the Detroit metro area.

Qualifications

• A doctoral degree or equivalent in health or public health related field.
• Strong skills in statistical analysis.
• Postdoctoral experience
• Knowledge of metabolomics, lipidomics, epigenetics, and multiomics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Lead author on publications and collaborate on co-authored papers.
• Manage data and perform analyses for the BIBB Epigenetic Aging study.
• Work with MSU and external collaborators across institutions.
• Contribute to dissemination of findings.
