Job summary

ARTISAN Management Group is seeking a maintenance technician to protect and enhance the value of our apartment communities across the Midwest. You’ll perform equipment maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks to ensure resident satisfaction.

You will handle on-call rotations, inspect units, and keep facilities safe and well-maintained. A high school diploma and hands-on maintenance experience are required, with preferred certifications in CAMT,

Qualifications

• Proven experience as maintenance technician in residential, commercial, or facility settings.
• Proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Preferred certifications: CAMT, EPA, CPO, boiler license, or related licenses/certifications.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work in accordance with ARTISAN policies and procedures and applicable laws.
• Maintain community buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Respond to work orders, including after-hours on-call maintenance.
• Inspect common areas and units to proactively address maintenance issues.
• Complete building repairs (drywall, flooring, doors, windows, etc.).
• Maintain pools/spas and safety equipment where applicable.
