Job summary

UK HealthCare in Lexington, KY seeks an Ambulatory/Retail Pharmacist for an on-call, temporary role at our Richmond Retail Pharmacy. You will review prescriptions, compound and dispense medications, and ensure safe drug therapy while delivering excellent patient service.

Eligibility includes Kentucky licensure (KY) on day one and a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with ambulatory/retail experience preferred. Shifts include evenings and weekends, with training opportunities in Lexington prior to opening

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Kentucky or eligible for licensure.
• Must be licensed in KY on day one of employment and maintained in good standing.
• Ambulatory/Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.
• Review and interpret prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate therapy and safety.
• Manage inventory and support staff to deliver excellent customer service.
