Job summary

Witco Inc. at Mountain Home Air Force Base seeks an Ability One Mail Clerk to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all official mail within the Official Mail Center (OMC). This role supports base operations and requires eligibility for Secret Security Clearance.

Ideal candidates are U.S. citizens with a High School Diploma or GED, documentation of a disability, and the ability to obtain and maintain the clearance credential.

Qualifications

• Documentation of disability, signed by a qualified licensed professional or state/government entity.
• Candidates must qualify and obtain Secret Security Level Clearance for Secure Mail Delivery on a Military Base and Maintain Secret Security Clearance credential at all times while employed.
• Must be a US Citizen
• High School Diploma / GED
• General math and reading skills
• Prior mailroom and mail delivery experience
• Military background with previous security clearance

Responsibilities

• Receive/ sort / distribute all official mail and inter-base communications for the OMC
• Weighs and determines classification as well as correct postage on all outgoing official mail
• Prepares command pouches for entry into the USPS mail system
• Receives, processes, and dispatches accountable mail containers and USPS Express Mail
• Adhere to all standards, policies and procedures promulgated by the Board of Directors and President and CEO
