Located in Pomona, CA, MBG California seeks On and Off Premise Sales Consultants and all levels of sales management for the state of California. We have a competitive compensation package with a wide range of benefits for full-time employees. This position works remotely with some travel.

Requirements

On and Off Premise Sales Professionals and all level of sales management are responsible for new account acquisition, maintaining high client satisfaction, increasing client retention, and driving revenue growth by ensuring that accounts receive exceptional service and tailored solutions to meet their needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting customer relationships grounded in trust and mutual value.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business growth objectives and develop strategies to enhance their brands.
  • Create tailored business growth plans for each account and build a sales pipeline to drive incremental growth beyond the base business.
  • Leverage data and insights to boost sales, expand customer businesses, and achieve key objectives more effectively.
  • Consistently pre-plan account visits, including setting clear agendas, identifying service opportunities, and documenting actions in our CRM system. Focus sales efforts based on each customer’s business growth plan to maximize results.
  • Maintain an active, on-site presence with customers, capturing visit notes and developing future visit plans based on previous outcomes. Document all interactions and opportunities in the CRM.
  • Develop a deep understanding of MBG’s product catalog, and effectively present and position products to meet the specific needs of each account. Use consultative selling techniques to propose creative solutions and secure sales.
  • Meet or exceed internal MBG performance metrics and supplier goals as outlined by the sales leadership team.
  • Proactively resolve customer issues, explore additional support opportunities, and drive growth by providing valuable industry insights.
  • Tailor your selling approach to each customer’s unique buying style and business needs, ensuring mutual benefits.
  • Stay well-informed about competitor offerings and continuously assess how Mexcor products compare, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and maintenance of all account- and customer-specific information in the CRM to support future growth initiatives.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device

  • May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Industry experience highly preferred
  • Proven track record in achieving sales goals and executing market programs that support corporate initiatives
  • Strong PC application skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and professionally
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to interact across teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Financial understanding and acumen
  • Must be proactive, resourceful, and efficient
  • This position requires attendance at local meetings, local travel and occasional out-of-town travel
  • 21 years or older
  • Maintain a valid and current driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Successful completion of background and drug screenings as a new employee and throughout employment, in accordance with company policy and state laws.
  • Submission of your auto insurance declaration page within the first three (3) days of employment is required. This must reflect company-required minimum coverage levels: $100,000 bodily injury per person, $300,000 bodily injury per accident, and $50,000 property damage liability. (Collision coverage is not required.)
