Job summary

Amazon seeks a part-time Delivery Driver to safely drive a cargo van and deliver packages to customer addresses. Candidates will utilize provided technology for navigation and communication, manage deliveries in varying weather, and handle physical demands including loading/unloading up to 50 pounds.

The ideal applicant must be 21 or older, possess a valid driver’s license, and be available for flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver License with clean driving history.
• Available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Pass Drug Test.
• Ability to work with technology (GPS, Smart Phone apps).
• Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus.
• Positive attitude.
• Previous delivery driver experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive cargo van to deliver packages.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive cargo van (Provided) to deliver Amazon packages to customers addresses.
• Effectively use Smart Phone (Provided) for routing information and GPS navigation, customer delivery notes, to communicate with dispatcher.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions (Rain, Snow, Heat, Wind, etc)
• Load and unload packages and get in and out of the delivery van up to 250 times per shift
• Climb stairs, reach overhead, squat-bend-kneel during work shift
• Lifting up to 50 pounds during work shift
• Deliver 300-550 packages per shift to about 200 different addresses
• Complete daily logs and reports
