Job summary

Wesco in Pittsburgh seeks an OMS Support Architect with deep expertise in IBM Sterling OMS to lead architectural design, implementation support, and ongoing platform optimization.

You will drive end-to-end order management capabilities—sourcing, inventory visibility, order hub and orchestration—while partnering with business stakeholders, development teams, and enterprise architects to deliver scalable OMS solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-9+ years of IBM Sterling OMS experience, focusing on Sourcing, Inventory Visibility, Order Hub, and Orchestration.
• 2+ years leading onshore/offshore teams in a Tech Lead or Architect capacity, driving requirements and delivery.
• Experience designing OMS solutions, deciding config vs customization, and optimizing performance.
• Experience deploying or supporting OMS in cloud environments (IBM Cloud preferred).
• Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, and end-to-end order management processes.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership and OMS implementation support.

• Analyze and troubleshoot end-to-end order lifecycle transactions across OMS and connected apps.

Seeking an OMS Support Architect with deep expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) to support and evolve a highly integrated enterprise order management ecosystem.

This individual will serve as the technical leader for OMS architecture, implementation support, transaction analysis, system integrations, and platform optimization. The ideal candidate possesses strong functional knowledge of order management processes while also understanding the technical architecture required to support sourcing, inventory visibility, fulfillment, and order orchestration within a complex enterprise environment.

The Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and enterprise architects to drive scalable OMS solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and support ongoing platform enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5-9+ years of IBM Sterling OMS experience, specifically with Sourcing, Inventory Visibility, Order Hub, and Order Orchestration.
• 2+ years leading onshore/offshore teams in a Technical Lead or Architect capacity, driving requirements, acceptance criteria, and solution delivery.
• Experience designing OMS solutions, evaluating customization vs. configuration, and optimizing platform performance.
• Experience deploying or supporting OMS solutions in cloud environments (IBM Cloud preferred).
• Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, and end-to-end order management processes.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• OMS integrations with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Experience with omni-channel fulfillment (BOPIS, Ship-from-Store, Dropship, Returns).
• Kafka, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, or other middleware/integration platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale retail, distribution, or supply chain environments.
• Automation, testing, and OMS modernization experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Details: $93,937 - $126,815 Annually

In addition, Wesco offers a benefits program for eligible employees, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and retirement savings plans.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents.

For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
