About the Role

Location: United States of America (Remote only)

Core to this initiative is the Siemens Energy Omnivise Ecosystem (OES) – a central platform that synthesizes key data and supports delivery of scalable cybersecurity solutions to critical infrastructure operators experiencing shifts in asset mix, customer demand, and operating dynamics.

The OES Cybersecurity Solution Architect will lead efforts to create solution architectures that support the OES customer base. The role will also entail ongoing market research to identify key trends in cybersecurity, informing cybersecurity portfolio and solution strategy, developing future OES customer use cases, and supporting customer-specific proposal and capture efforts. This is an exciting and ambitious position that will have a strong influence on the future direction of the Siemens Energy cybersecurity solutions portfolio.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Conduct exploratory market research to identify emerging trends and technologies that could contribute value to the Siemens Energy Cybersecurity Portfolio.
  • Define technical and commercial requirements for potential new solutions; design solution architecture, service concept, and execution approach.
  • Formulate cybersecurity requirements (e.g., functional, regulatory, etc.) for customer-specific use case; develop solution architectures, solution packages, and services to satisfy needs.
  • Shape new use cases to enable scalable deployment of cybersecurity solutions; develop go to market strategy for offerings based on market data, customer feedback, and regional sales input.
  • Develop and maintain enablement materials, including pitch decks, opportunity summaries, regulatory mappings, technical architectures, training documents, etc.
  • Train and enable regional personnel responsible for customer relationship management and sales. Collaborate with Sales Operations and Finance teams to support bid and capture as needed based on pipeline.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited academic institution; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 10+ years of total professional experience with at least 5 years of experience as a solution architect.
  • Ability to formulate technical and commercial requirements for potential new solutions based on market analysis, stakeholder feedback, and technology evaluation. Ability to design new solution concepts, including prospective solution architecture and commercial model.
  • Advanced technical writing skills; ability to develop compelling supporting intellectual capital such as solution pitch decks, slick sheets, whitepapers, proposals, and battle cards.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, solution architecture, product management, cloud, artificial intelligence, engineering, critical infrastructure, and/or operating technology (OT) preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
