Job summary
Mayo Clinic seeks a Software Engineer for the Simulation–First team in Rochester. You will design and maintain simulation and digital twin applications using NVIDIA Omniverse, real-time 3D tech, cloud services, and ML integrations.
Collaborate with product owners and architects to deliver scalable, high-uptime software that improves clinical workflows. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, experience with cloud platforms, and familiarity with healthcare tech.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an Associates with 2 extra years of tech experience.
- 1+ year of software engineering in high-level languages (C/C++, Go, Java, C#).
- Experience with SDLC, code reviews, version control, testing, and operations.
- Familiar with Agile development and cloud-based services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain simulation and digital twin apps using NVIDIA Omniverse and 3D tech.
- Ensure uptime, accuracy, resilience, and scalable data handling.
- Collaborate with data engineering, product, and architecture teams to translate requirements into code.
- Participate in DevOps, CI/CD, and documentation of processes and code.
