We are looking for a skilled Omnissa Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our mobile device infrastructure. You will play a critical role in architecting scalable MDM solutions using platforms like Omnissa, VMware Workspace ONE (WS1), and SOTI, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable mobile device management across the enterprise. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can troubleshoot complex technical challenges and optimize MDM deployments to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement MDM solutions leveraging Omnissa, WS1, and SOTI platforms to support organizational mobile device management needs.
• Engineer scalable mobile device enrollment, provisioning, configuration, and compliance workflows for corporate and BYOD environments.
• Integrate MDM platforms with other enterprise systems such as Active Directory, identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, Okta), and security tools.
• Automate routine MDM tasks using scripting and API integrations to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and troubleshoot complex issues related to device management and security.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and infrastructure teams to enforce mobile security policies and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and runbooks.
• Evaluate new MDM technologies and features to recommend enhancements or migrations.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and support teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven engineering experience with enterprise MDM/UEM platforms such as Omnissa, VMware Workspace ONE (WS1), and SOTI.
• Strong knowledge of mobile OS architectures (iOS, Android, Windows) and device management protocols (MDM, MAM).
• Experience integrating MDM solutions with identity management, security information and event management (SIEM), and network infrastructure.
• Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and REST API integrations for automation and customization.
• Familiarity with enterprise networking concepts, VPN, Wi-Fi security, and mobile threat defense technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical environments.
• Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and cross-team collaboration.
• Relevant certifications such as VMware Workspace ONE Professional, SOTI MobiControl Certified, or related are highly desirable.
