Job summary

Insulet Corporation in Massachusetts seeks an experienced diabetes educator to serve as Field Podder Advocate, guiding new Omnipod 5 users through the first 90 days with personalized clinical support. You’ll partner with healthcare providers and territory teams to reinforce therapy adoption and retention.

This is a full-time, 4-5 month contract role with field-based responsibilities, patient coaching, and targeted follow-ups designed to optimize long-term outcomes and therapy success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• CPT and CDCES certifications required.
• Professional credentials and state licensure as applicable.
• 2+ years clinical diabetes care experience.
• 2+ years training users of advanced diabetes tech.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Implement the risk-based, retention workflow for patients in territory, post-training.
• Provide clinical support post-training, for patients in territory, as needed.
• Contribute to clinical partnerships with HCPs and clinic staff.
• Own patient follow-up and clinical support throughout the post-training journey.
• Collaborate with Clinical Services Managers, territory teams, and healthcare provider offices.
• Conduct targeted retention outreach, clinical coaching, refresher training, and resource-based interventions.
• Foster strong clinical partnerships that enhance patient engagement and support long-term therapy success.
• Document customer interactions and support activities in accordance with policies.
• Identify and elevate patient barriers, trends, and opportunities affecting retention.
