Touro College & University System invites an experienced medical educator to teach OMM to first-year medical students at the Middletown, NY campus. The role includes clinical/student precepting in the on-campus OMM clinic and active participation in admissions interviews.

Ideal candidates hold a DO or MD, are board certified/eligible in NMM/OMM, and have strong teaching, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Competenze

• Must hold a DO or MD degree and be board certified/eligible in NMM/OMM.
• Ability and desire to teach in a post-graduate setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and motivation to contribute to the growth of the OMM department.

Mansioni

• Deliver OMM laboratory content for 1st and 2nd year courses.
• Prepare and deliver lectures or laboratory lessons on assigned topics.
• Participate in assessment of student performance through examinations.
• Advise and mentor students and participate in admissions interviews.
• Provide reports and budgetary information to Department Chairs, Directors and Deans.
• Precept clinical with on-campus OMM clinic responsibilities.
