Job summary

The Children\'s Guild seeks a Therapist/Clinician to provide individual, family, and group therapy for children and adolescents in an outpatient setting. You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and document in line with COMAR and HIPAA, working under supervision.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Graduate licensure in Maryland or DC (LMSW, LGPC, or equivalent) encouraged to apply.
  • Genuine passion for working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents.
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions under clinical supervision (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy).
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency standards.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and school staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Engage families as active partners in therapy and progress.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
