Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a medical assistant to join our Redmond Urgent Care. In this role you will work with providers to deliver compassionate care and support the patient experience. The position is 0.8 FTE, part-time, with evening Sunday-Wednesday shifts.

You will room patients, triage phone calls, and coordinate care. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, MA-C certification, Washington state MA program, CPR, and EPIC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of certified medical assistant program or WA state equivalent.
• MA-C certification through WA DOH required.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Posting Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Redmond Urgent Care.

Our Medical Assistants are a vital part of the patient experience in our clinic. They work with our providers to offer exceptional care for our patients and their families.

Daily tasks including rooming patients, triage phone calls, and assisting in coordination of patient care.

Schedule .8 FTE part-time Sunday-Wednesday evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) through WA State DOH required.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.
