Job summary

SCS Engineers in Modesto, CA is seeking an OM&M Field Technician I to support operation, maintenance and monitoring of environmental control systems. You will learn terminology, processes and equipment, report to a senior supervisor, and assist with planning and basic repairs while serving the Northern and Bay areas in California.

Qualifications

• 2 years of field experience preferred.
• Willing to complete 40-Hour HAZWOPER course (provided if not current).
• Basic computer/tech skills: smartphones, tablets, MS Office.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Must meet physical requirements and pass HPE.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operation, maintenance and monitoring of environmental control systems.
• Work with senior staff on daily CAPs, monitoring and adjustments.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on system components.
• Document field observations and data for client communications.
• Participate in training to use field instruments and calibrate devices.
