Role Overview: The Knowledge Team supports our firm by executing demanding research projects across various topics and industries. We are seeking a Senior Research Analyst focused on the Corporate & Investment Banking sectors. This role is embedded within Oliver Wyman’s Banking & Financial Services Practice, requiring collaboration with practice leaders, senior consultants, and the Knowledge team.
The OW Corporate and Investment Banking Research Analyst delivers impact by integrating industry expertise, deep knowledge, and curiosity in the fast-changing financial services sector. We seek someone collaborative, creative, and critical-thinking oriented, who digs deep to solve problems.
As a Research Analyst, you will become the go-to researcher for the practice, utilizing strong research skills in financial databases, synthesizing datasets, reports, and insights, and providing relevant analysis. Building relationships with practice heads, partners, and stakeholders through meetings and presentations is key.
Client engagements are data-driven, requiring excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyze and present large datasets and identify inconsistencies.
Over time, you will mentor junior colleagues and contribute to training on FS resources, leveraging our firm’s learning programs for professional development.
The base salary range is $75,000 to $135,000 USD, determined by experience and other factors. Additional performance incentives and benefits are offered. We support a hybrid work environment with flexible remote options and in-office collaboration at least three days per week.
