Job Overview:

The Director of Actuarial and Insurance & Asset Management (I&AM) Talent Management is a global human capital leader responsible for developing and executing talent strategies in collaboration with business leaders across various talent models. This role focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining talent within Oliver Wyman’s Actuarial, Insurance, and Asset Management divisions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and culture. The position reports to the OWA and Insurance and Asset Management Leader and the OWG CPO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business leaders to design and implement talent strategies that support overall business objectives.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to attract, retain, and motivate talent globally.
  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, and resource planning for Actuarial, IAM, and ICG teams.
  • Advise leaders on human capital solutions to address business needs and long-term talent development.
  • Manage performance, compensation, and professional development programs.
  • Lead global recruitment strategies in partnership with the recruiting team.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with HR operations to ensure effective employee onboarding, offboarding, and policy management.
Experience and Skills:
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in talent management or HR leadership, preferably in professional services.
  • Proven expertise in employee relations and managing difficult situations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence and build relationships remotely.
