Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field.

Job Description

As a Manager, you will work alongside and learn from Oliver Wyman’s industry leaders and other consultants while contributing to a broad range of client projects. You will eventually have interaction with Oliver Wyman’s clients, which include top tier insurance companies, healthcare systems, regulatory agencies, large employers with captive programs and private equity firms. Potential projects may include:

• Valuation and reserve development for medical and other A&H products
• Captive feasibility, funding, reserving, and risk/capital management
• Merger and acquisition management and support
• Economic Capital Modeling and Enterprise Risk Management
• Regulatory support – financial examinations and review of mergers and acquisitions
• Support of pricing, product development, strategy, and other project work performed within the health practice across all lines of business

Qualifications And Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree, preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics,Financeor a related field
• Significant progress with actuarial exams,ASA/FSA preferred
• 5+ years of actuarial experience in the actuarial field, preferably in the health insurance market or healthcare provider market
• Exceptional organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
• Project management skills
• Track recordof anddesirefor rapid learning, high performance, and professional growth
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholders
• Excellent time management skills
• Understanding of the value of collaboration and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Deep critical-thinking skills and problem-solving ability
• Highly motivated individual and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
• Strong skills with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint required

The applicable base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
