Job summary

Spa Ojai is seeking a Bartender to support a high-volume, upscale restaurant setting. You will deliver Five Star service, craft cocktails, manage beer, wine, and spirits, and work closely with the F&B team to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements include at least two years of bartender experience in a fine dining venue, fluency in English, and strong guest relations skills. Experience with POS systems and a proactive, energetic demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Bartender is primarily responsible for the smooth functioning and service aspect of a full service bar in an elegant restaurant setting. The restaurant is a high volume dining outlet. The Bartender is responsible for delivering the highest caliber of Five Star service to guests in an upbeat, lively environment. Creates a professional atmosphere that is inviting for guests, promoting and enhancing the offerings of a wide range of quality beers on tap, wines, and other spirits, as well as menu items. The Bartender must have an exceptional working knowledge of alcoholic beverage offerings and the ability to create drinks according to guests’ requests. Requires an approachable, congenial, engaging personality and the ability to relate and converse with all types of people. Monitors consumption of guests and follows TIPs protocols to ensure a safe environment. Works cohesively with F&B team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Essential Job Functions
