Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Coralville, IA is seeking a Technician II (Synthesis) to synthesize custom oligonucleotides according to customer specifications. The role involves quantification, final packaging, and QC sampling of produced materials, reporting to the Supervisor, Rachel Curry, in the Tubes N Formulated Research Products Value Stream, on-site shift.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a science-related field or eighteen months of lab experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with computer skills with the ability to accurately use SOPs/aids in the safety-minded production of oligonucleotides.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including decontamination, product transfer, and maintenance connection software.
• Operate lab instruments to complete tasks following all work instructions and SOPs with strict adherence to policies.
• Support daily management: assessment to drive problem solving with data and countermeasures.
