Job summary

The Malvern School of Glen Mills is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Older Toddler classroom. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday and offers opportunities to design creative curriculum within a supportive team.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field; alternatively, a 30-credit-hour bachelor’s or a two-year associate with relevant experience is acceptable.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in ECE/child development etc. and 1 year of experience with children.
  • Associate’s degree in ECE/child development etc. and 2 years of experience with children.
  • Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in ECE/child development etc. and 3 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise and implement a superior early childhood program in line with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment.
  • Regularly communicate with parents in person and through technology to meet or exceed expectations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
Bachelor's degree including 30 credit hours in relevant field and 1 year experience

The Malvern School is currently seeking a Lead Teacher for the Older Toddler classroom at The Malvern School of Glen Mills. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

  • Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
  • Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
  • Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

To qualify for a lead teaching position with The Malvern School you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
