Job summary

McMenamins Old St Francis School is hiring for a Host/Food Runner/Support Staff role in Bend, Oregon. This position supports a busy pub environment by greeting guests, seating, answering questions, and expediting meals with a focus on friendly, efficient service.

Ideal candidates will have a food handlers card and prior hospitality experience, with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work well within a team while maintaining a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers in a high-volume environment.
• Answer phones and direct guests to seating.
• Expedite and deliver food from kitchen to patrons in a timely manner.
• Help clean and set tables; restock supplies as needed.
• Work outside seasonally and in smoking/non-smoking areas while maintaining excellent guest relations.

McMenamins Old St. Francis School is Hiring for Host/Food Runner/Support Staff

Description of the Position: The Host/Food Runner/Support Staff duties include but are not limited to; greeting and seating customers in a high-volume environment, answering phones, directing customers to assigned or preferred seating, answering guest’s questions regarding the pub or property, and expediting and delivering food from the kitchen to patrons in a timely manner. This position may also be required to help, clean, and set tables. In addition, they may restock supplies, perform general cleaning, work outside on a seasonal basis, work in smoking and non-smoking environments and most importantly maintain and provide excellent customer relations with all patrons. This position requires mental agility and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment. A host/food runner must have the ability to work well independently and also as a member of a team.
