Job summary

Greenheck Group in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking production professionals to join our team. You will assemble mechanical and electrical finished goods from drawings and SOPs, adhere to safety guidelines, and operate equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role emphasizes quality, lean practices, and cross-training across departments, with a starting pay of $29.87/hour plus potential increases to $34.64/hour and a shift premium.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED preferred
  • 12 months manufacturing experience required
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • NFPA70E certification required
  • Able to read measuring devices and blueprints
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check may be required

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret shop floor paperwork prior to assembly
  • Read drawings, SOPs, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Assemble finished goods (mechanical and electrical) to quality standards in assigned area
  • Operate equipment and perform basic maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace and adhere to 5S and lean initiatives

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
  • Review and interpret shop floor paperwork prior to assembly
  • Read and follow drawings, SOPs, blueprints, and/or wiring diagrams
  • Properly assemble finished good (mechanical and electrical) to quality standards in assigned area
  • Efficiently build multiple product types
  • Full operation of equipment, where assigned
  • Operator-level cleaning and maintenance for their assigned area
  • Depending on assigned area, may include advanced testing and troubleshooting functions
  • Conform to all safety guidelines while performing duties and operating equipment
  • Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for the position
  • Support daily and monthly production goals and targets
  • Utilize SOPs and Standard Work Instructions to complete work
  • Contribute to safety and process improvement initiatives
  • Learn SAP/ MII / MES Processes
  • Demonstrate reliability and ownership of assigned processes
  • Identify work to be performed via SAP or MII work center priority
  • Perform physical material movements
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S and lean initiatives
  • Cross-train within department
  • Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible in areas they are cross-trained in
  • Help train new production team members as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY/MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
  • HS Diploma or GED preferred
  • 12 months prior manufacturing experience required
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old
  • Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • NFPA70E certification required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High focus on quality and safety
  • Advanced math, reading, and computer skills
  • Advanced skill in reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematic reading
  • Advanced skills in use of basic, pneumatic, and power tools
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to perform other jobs in other pay grades
  • Ability to read measuring devices
  • Ability to safely operate equipment, which may include material movement equipment such as overhead lifting devices, forklifts, etc.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check, if offered employment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Position requires ability to move with ease in the production area; possess physical strength and stamina to remain in stationary/standing position for prolonged periods; use hands and fingers for potentially repetitive handling, gripping, and manipulating product, tools, and equipment; position oneself to complete work including bending, balancing, twisting, rotating, stooping, climbing, moving over uneven surfaces; push, pull and reach; and lift, carry, move or position objects up to 50 pounds regularly. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to operating machinery with moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, forklift and crane operations, and vibration as well as varied exposure to noise. Personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety toed footwear required. Additional PPE may be required based upon work. This is a safety-sensitive position, and impairment while performing the tasks or duties of this role could pose a health and safety risk to both the individual performing
