Responsibilities

• Prioritize personal safety and comply with facility safety regulations.
• Train new hires using training checklists and guidance.
• Train new hires with the 5-D method: Describe, Demonstrate, Do, Double-Check, Document.
• Demonstrate SME level capacity for: String Rework Operator, Module Rework Operator, J-Box Rework Operator.
• Demonstrate SME level capacity for skills: material loading, manual repair, defect identification, J-Box Solder Machine 5S.”
• Use positive feedback methods to coach new hires and build their confidence.
• Track new hire progress and push for completion of training period to meet target.
• Schedule observation and testing for new hires ready to work independently.
• Provide training that supports shift targets and reduces downtime and defects.
• Provide vacancy/callout coverage when not performing primary training duties to reduce OT.
