Job summary

Adams Group in Arbuckle, CA is seeking a Crush Operator to join the Operations Team. You will process seed into crude oil and meal, operate production equipment, monitor quality, and maintain records to meet customer specs.

New hires train on day shift before transitioning to a rotating schedule (day, swing, night). You may lift up to 50 pounds and need forklift certification on hire or after training, plus a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for recordkeeping, safety, and training.
• Basic computer skills and SOP adherence.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to recognize equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and processing technology to convert seed into crude oil and meal.
• Monitor product quality, collect samples, and maintain accurate production records.
• Maintain shift reports and production documentation; comply with safety policies.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment after training and certification.
• Collaborate with team to support continuous improvement and safe work practices.
