Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a Technical Representative II in Midland, TX to support Sales Representatives and customers with routine service, start-ups of new applications, and technical troubleshooting. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 10% in the designated territory.

The ideal candidate will have high school diploma, 2 years of technical service experience, and may hold an Associate’s degree or trade certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• No immigration sponsorship offered.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree or Trade School Certification.
• 2 years of technical service or field sales support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts.
• Assist with start-ups of new applications in existing and new accounts.
• Provide technical support to customers, identify pain points, escalate as required.
• Execute chemistry tests, log and report data, maintain product inventories.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed and process monitoring equipment.
• Travel up to 10% within assigned sales territory.
