Job summary

Panhandle Oilfield Services Companies, Inc. is seeking a field inspector to begin a hands-on career in the oil and gas industry. You will train to inspect pipe, work on a crew, and perform inspection duties in the field under demanding outdoor conditions.

The role involves lifting to 50 lbs, working outdoors, and maintaining records, with hours around 45–55 per week and a focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
• Oilfield experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection duties on drill pipe and pipe coatings.
• Visually and dimensionally inspect pipe and coatings.
• Maintain records of inspection as necessary.
• Perform minor repairs and cleaning of equipment and facilities ensuring safety.
• Help maintain inventory of supplies and shop equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain a good attendance record.
• Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week.
