Job summary

Panhandle Oilfield Services Companies, Inc. is seeking a field inspector to begin a hands-on career in the oil and gas industry. You will train to inspect pipe, work on a crew, and perform inspection duties in the field under demanding outdoor conditions.

The role involves lifting to 50 lbs, working outdoors, and maintaining records, with hours around 45–55 per week and a focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
• Oilfield experience preferred but not required.

This is a great opportunity to get started in the Oil & Gas industry. While working in the field, you will train to inspect pipe and work on a crew. This involves intensive labor including bending, lifting, stooping, reaching, twisting most of the shift. Lifting to 50 lbs., working in the outside elements and clean pipe connections.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection duties primarily on drill pipe and pipe related coatings
• Visually and dimensionally inspect pipe and/or pipe coatings
• Maintain records of inspection as necessary
• Perform minor repairs and cleaning of the equipment and facilities keeping them in a safe condition
• Help maintain inventory of supplies and/or shop equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain a good attendance record
• Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in adverse conditions (heat and cold)
• Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, balance, climb, and reach overhead
• Must be able to handle (using both hands and arms and rotation of the hand or wrist)
• Must be able to manipulate fingers to pick, pinch or otherwise work with fingers primarily
• You must be able to walk, sit and stand for an extended period
• Must be able to carry, push, pull, and lift to 50 pounds
• Must be able to engage in coherent speech and possess the capacity to hear loud and soft noises
