Job summary

STI is seeking an Inspection Assistant/Helper to support inspectors in testing and NDT procedures at our site in the United States. You will assist with quality checks, learn to operate non-destructive testing equipment, and perform related tasks as directed by Supervisors or Inspectors.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork, with on-the-job training and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Technical background required or desired.
• Mechanical aptitude essential.
• Strong safety and quality awareness required.
• Oilfield experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills to resolve issues.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Dependable transportation to job site.

Responsibilities

• Assist Inspectors in conducting tests to ensure quality or to detect discontinuities (defects).
• Assist Inspectors in performing NDT procedures and other operations; perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisors or Inspectors.
• Set up and utilize Non-destructive Test Equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.
