Role Description

This full-time, on-site Oilfield Heavy Haul Driver role is based in Gardendale, TX. The driver is responsible for safely transporting heavy oilfield equipment and oversized loads to and from drilling sites, yards, and other locations, following all DOT and company safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and rigging loads properly, operating specialized trailers and equipment, and maintaining accurate logs and delivery paperwork. The role involves coordinating with dispatch, supervisors, and field personnel to ensure timely pickups and deliveries, adapting to changing site conditions, and following site-specific safety protocols. The driver is also expected to keep equipment clean and in good working order, report maintenance needs promptly, and contribute to a culture of safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and experience hauling heavy, oversized, or specialized loads.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DOT regulations, load securement practices, and safe operation of tractors, trailers, and related equipment.
• Experience working in oilfield, industrial, or construction environments, with strong awareness of field safety requirements.
• Ability to read and follow dispatch instructions, maps, and site directions, and to complete logs and paperwork accurately.
• Strong physical stamina to climb, lift, secure loads, and work outdoors in varied weather and terrain.
• Reliable communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with dispatch, mechanics, and field staff.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime, based on operational needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional heavy haul or safety training and certifications are a plus.
