Job summary

Axis Williston, ND facility is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel engines, heavy trucks, workover rigs, and other oilfield equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in shop or field, following manuals and safety procedures.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years oilfield experience, and strong hydraulic knowledge; a class A/B license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; trade/technical certification preferred.
• 5+ years of solid oilfield equipment maintenance experience with diesel engines and hydraulics.
• Valid driver's license; Class A/B preferred.
• Strong hydraulic knowledge and ability to diagnose complex hydraulic systems.
• Experience with CAT/Cummins/Mack/Detroit MTU troubleshooting tools is a plus.
• Able to read repair manuals and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment including diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose failures and provide repairs in shop or field locations.
• Read and follow repair manuals and perform repairs as listed.
• Order parts and document work; complete required paperwork.
