Job summary

Nine Energy Service is seeking an Electronics Technician to maintain and troubleshoot field equipment, learn documentation and computer processes, and guide junior technicians. This role emphasizes reliability, problem solving, and adherence to safety standards.

The technician will use diagnostic software, work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and ensure accurate SAP work orders while supporting ongoing maintenance programs in a dynamic oilfield environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electronics Technician in industrial or oilfield settings.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Willingness to participate in on‑the‑job and company training.
• Must be able to pass drug and background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete all essential functions required of Electronics Technicians.
• Use engine/transmission diagnostic software.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic problems.
• Troubleshoot complex control systems and electronics.
• Tune and edit control software settings.
• Perform installations and upgrades.
• Create and update work orders in SAP.
• Inspect and approve completed repairs.
• Participate in safety meetings to identify and address risks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
