Job summary

Imperative Chemical Partners in Midland, Texas seeks a Service Technician to learn and apply knowledge of specialty chemical products for oil and gas operations. You will perform chemical treatment of wells, minor troubleshooting, and maintenance, serving as the field representative to assist customers.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a clean driving record for at least three years, and 0–2 years of oil and gas experience or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Acceptable driving record for a minimum of 3 years.
• 0–2 years of oil and gas employment or equivalent education and experience.
• PPE and safety procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Understand chemical treatment of wells.
• Communicate issues to supervisor in a timely and thorough manner.
• Interact with customer and field personnel to resolve issues.
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot field equipment supporting chemical treatment programs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps and trailers after daily use.
• Rig up equipment (gooseneck and/or bumper pull trailers).
• May be required to deliver chemicals when needed.
• Maintain company property in good order and adhere to safety policies.
