Job summary

Nine Energy Service in Hobbs, NM is seeking an Equipment Operator I to drive and operate oilfield cementing equipment, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and supporting field crews.

The role requires a Class A CDL if applicable, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and background checks. You will assist with rig-up/rig-down, handle high-pressure hoses, and complete regulatory paperwork to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Tanker/HazMat preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and background checks.
• Basic knowledge of rig operations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of a commercial motor vehicle.
• Operate a CMV to and from the job site.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment; check fluids and replace parts.
• Assist in rig-up/rig-down and handle high-pressure hoses.
• Complete regulatory paperwork (DOT logs, trip sheets, observation cards).
