Job summary

SLB is seeking a Bulk Plant Operator in Texas to ensure safe, efficient product delivery to wellsites. You will blend bulk products, verify quantities, and maintain QC in line with HSE policies. The role includes equipment checks, daily documentation, and supporting training for peers.

You will work outdoors in varying conditions, follow procedures, and ensure environmental considerations are met. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in oilfield operations, bulk plant operations, or related environments.
• Ability to follow procedures, work instructions, and safe work practices in a high-activity industrial setting.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and meet physical demands.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Blend and mix bulk products for delivery to the wellsite, on time, according to the job program design.
• Check and/or calculate quantities of material blends required prior to loading.
• Follow Product Line quality assurance procedures to ensure proper loading.
• Coordinate movement of bulk products to and from locations with the PSD and Logistics Team.
• Assist in conducting monthly inventory and daily paperwork completion for goods received and shipped.
• Label and store additives in a safe manner and ensure disposal of empty drums and pails.
• Maintain bulk plant equipment by performing daily checks and keeping the plant clean.
• Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
