Job summary

RMS Cranes, LLC is seeking Oiler Apprentices to support crane operators on job sites in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves assisting with equipment setup, rigging, and safe lifting of loads while traveling to multiple locations.

Candidates should be prepared for a full-time traveling position and comply with all state and federal laws and safety policies. Wages are based on Local 953 rates and depend on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a current state issued driver's license.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in oilers/apprentice roles.

Responsibilities

• Assists crane operator in proper equipment setup.
• Maintains crane and accessory equipment (pickup trucks, haul trucks, trailers).
• Performs proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of loads.
• Uses hand signals during crane operations for safety.
• Secures equipment to trailers before operating the truck.
• Inspects truck/trailer and files inspection reports.
