HSM (Hickory Springs Manufacturing) Company is seeking an Oil Temp Operator for the 1st shift responsible for setting up and running wire drawing machines, inspecting quality, and generating end-of-run paperwork. The role requires lifting 50 lbs+ and willingness to work 12-hour shifts in a non climate-controlled environment.

Strong teamwork and safety focus are essential; forklift experience is a plus and HS diploma is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
• Comfortable working in hot and cold environments.
• Able to lift and handle 50 lbs or more.
• Knowledge of Wire Drawing operations is preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check with lead person at beginning of shift to determine the production schedule.
• Set-up and maintain wire drawing machines according to production schedule and quality standards. Make minor adjustments as necessary.
• Load rod coils onto drawing machine payoffs.
• Operate and run machine to produce a finished product.
• Perform quality inspections on regular basis throughout shift.
• At end of each run, generate inventory-related paperwork.
• Maintain good safety practices.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
