Job summary

John Jones Auto Group is seeking a Lube Service Technician to perform oil changes, fluid checks, and routine maintenance. You will inspect belts, filters, and air levels, and work with diagnostic equipment to diagnose issues.

Ideal candidates have dealership exposure, strong automotive knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous dealership experience is a plus.
• Ability to quickly identify the problem.
• Knowledge of automobiles and systems.
• Effective analytical and communication skills.
• Good reading, computer, and math skills.
• Willingness to learn new technology and procedures.
• Comfort with electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred; ASE certs helpful.
• Minimum of 1 year in service department; physical stamina to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
